The good news is that I now have a date set for my first online store for the beginning of February. This is as long as nothing major goes wrong before then of course. My plan then is to just let that store run on its own steam, investing almost all money that it makes back into promoting it. To be honest it is more of an experiment for me to see just how to grow a business using the different strategies for promoting the business. Hopefully anything that is learned can be used to full effect once Digaset is released. This definitely needs excellent marketing and to provide customer service if it is to succeed as we hope it will, and to be honest we need all the help we can get so learning from the first shop is a good way to do this.

While sitting around over Christmas doing nothing as tradition dictates ;) I got time to think of some other ideas which I would like to put into practice including an online advertising application and unique job recommendation system. Unfortunately these will have to sit on the back burner for now until we can get Digaset out, which is definitely my main concern at the moment. After all, thats what we quit our jobs for! The fact is that we are a two man team trying to do what would normally be done by a team of at least 4-5 in the same time frame so as you can imagine we will be very busy over the next year :)
