Well, what can I say? SmellBeautiful.co.uk is all ready for release but my bank account has still not been verified. They keep saying that they have deposited two small amounts into my account but they are not in my account. The unfortunate thing is that I can not take payments until this is done. Hopefully it will be finished next week and I can finally release. It’s definitely been a long time coming and I am looking forward to its release. My one tip though is not to get anyone to develop the system for you and just do it yourself. I got someone to do my system and I have still had to pretty much finish off all the features and style myself. I don’t want to get into it to much but I was not completely satisfied with the service I received and in the future would just do it myself. I thought that it would save me some time but it ended up costing me money and still my own time so I have not benefited. In-fact you could say that I am worse off which is probably correct.

Anyway, what doesnt kill you makes you stronger. At least I have learned one way not to do it in the future.

Well I have finally managed to get the details sorted and the contract signed so I should be receiving my finished online store in mid February. It will hopefully be just in time for the Valentines day shopping spree although don’t think that I will be able to get much business because of the lack of advertising, so I don’t think that it will make as big of an impact as I would like but still, anything is better than nothing right? I will keep you up-to-date and will post some of the initial designs that I get back onto the site for you to check out. So any constructive criticism would be great as I would like the site to be at least functional if not the best design in the world. After all whats the point of having the best looking shop online if no one can find anything that they are looking for?
